Implications of this proposal:
-Promote the active participation of people in an artistic and cultural event.
-Endorse dialog among different cultures and peoples.
-Encourage participants to have a reflexive vision about their own reality and their belonging to a globalized world.
-Show poetry as a tool for communication and social development.
-Create a collective poem which can be representative as “poetical voice” of the city which writes it.
Every person contribution is written down in a notebook. Also, photography are taken to be placed in a website where everyone in the world would be able to read what other cities wrote.
The whole poem itself, the paper, can be donated to different cultural institutions.
The poem can be written in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arab, or any other language, as a symbol of intercultural dialog.
